Tips for Maximum Effectiveness:
- Place our AGO mosquito trap in a shaded area, preferably where no rain can enter.
- If that isn't possible, we recommend drilling small drainage holes in the side of the bucket (upper half) to avoid water overflowing.
- Fill the bucket with water and a natural vegetation of your choice. We recommend something native to your area that attracts mosquitoes, such as grass, oak or maple leaves, etc.
- It is best to allow a few days for this to break down. You may also use a commercial attractant if desired.
- The Sticky-Screen can capture hundreds of mosquitoes. If you notice it becomes full, remove and replace with a new one.
- The top debris/animal guard connects to the support arm, which locks into the Sticky-Screen. Place it through the trap's opening and turn to lock into the Sticky-Screen.
- Place the AGO mosquito trap on the ground vs. hanging for better effectiveness.
