Instructions for Pro AGO Mosquito Trap
Watch how to assemble our Pro AGO Trap.
Steps for assembling the STUCK Pro AGO Trap
- Fill your bucket about halfway with water. Add a handful of dried vegetation (grass, leaves, hay, etc.) into the water to help attract mosquitoes.
Important: Do not use distilled water as beneficial bacteria are needed to break down the vegetation.
Note: Ensure at least 1 small hole (3/32”) is drilled in the bucket's upper half for rainwater drainage. If you purchased our bucket, do not drill the bottom holes. - Verify the 2 leaf guard pieces are snapped together. If they’re not, take the upright piece and snap it into the circular piece as shown.
Tip: The tapered side of the circular piece should face down, toward the screen. Don't worry, the leaf guard will still work and stay secure on top of the trap if you accidentally do it the opposite way. - With one hand, place the screen into the bottom of the trap body, sticky side up (tabs down) toward the leaf guard.*
With your other hand, insert the leaf guard through the top of the trap.
Align the upright piece with the 2 larger holes in the screen and guide it into place.
Twist the top of the leaf guard until it snaps into the screen.
Tip: You'll hear an audible “snap” when it locks into place. - Set the assembled trap inside the bucket and position it around your home.
For best results: Place it in a shaded area near vegetation, out of direct sunlight and wind.
*Note: If you get glue on your fingers, don’t worry, it’s not harmful. Mineral oil or olive oil works well to remove any residue.
