FAQs

Q: Do I have to use tap water to fill up my trap reservoir?

A: Testing has proven that tap water was effective at luring gravid mosquitoes to our traps. We do not recommend using bottled or distilled water but encourage you to try rainwater or stream/river water if tap water is not easily accessible.

Q: How often do I need to refill the water in my trap?

A: We suggest checking your trap every 1-2 weeks to replenish water as needed.

Q: How will I know when it is time to replace my screen?

A: The screen should be replaced when it is full of insects. See image below for reference.

Q: Can I recycle the used sticky screen?

Q: Where do you recommend I put the trap in my home?

A: We suggest placing the trap where you have seen mosquitoes in your home, such areas could include bathrooms, kitchens, garages, or bedrooms.
